Francisco D’Angelo has extensive experience growing revenue in outsourcing supply chain management services in procurement, contract manufacturing, logistics, and 3PL environment across 13 countries in the Americas. He is skilled at strategic planning, business development, team leadership, customer relations, operational efficiencies, negotiations, and business growth.

Francisco has over 30 years of experience at a leading supply chain management company that manufactures personal care products, cosmetics, sanitizers, and other products for Belcorp, P&G, Kimberly Clark, Unilever, Mary Kay, Colgate-Palmolive, etc. The other arm was effectively the 3PL and transportation supplier for door-to-door sales Belcorp, Samsung, Mondelez, Whirpool, and other major companies across Latin America. He led and grew sales for the entire enterprise, and then took the reins of the company’s main business operation in Perú.

Business Highlights:

Francisco held several top leadership roles throughout his 30+ years at Yobel SCM, including:

  • CEO, Yobel Perú – Full P&L/operating responsibility for four FMCG plants (two cosmetics, one packaging, and one fine jewelry), three distribution centers, and a portfolio of supply chain solutions for many top FMCG companies. Manufacturing 60M units per year, doing 460k monthly deliveries, 597k orders, managing a fleet of 1,417 independent fleets, and managing warehousing space of 135k pallet positions. Grew EBITDA by 3x.
  • Senior VP of Sales & Marketing, Yobel Latin America – P&L/sales accountability for the Americas. Sales verticals included blue-chip customers in cosmetics, personal care, telecom, retail, footwear, fashion, pharmaceutical, food, home care, and industrial hygiene. Provided business leadership to customer knowledge, global sales, solution sales, contract negotiations, and pricing strategy. Directed a sales team of 60 in 13 countries through three direct reports. Grew sales from $30M to $150M via hunting and executing large contracts from a local company with 300 employees to a global company with 4,000 employees.
  • Sales & Marketing Director – Responsible for implementing the business strategy in Perú to grow 30% per year and lower the dependency on one single client from 100% to 50%.
  • Personal Care Business Director – Responsible for cosmetics and personal care products business with our own and represented brands, selling through traditional sales channels, supermarket and pharmacy chains, distributors, and wholesalers. Increasing EBITDA from 9 to 16%.

Francisco served as a Board Member at Yobel SCM for over 25 years. He was also a board member or board chair for several other organizations, including GS1 Perú, Operation Smile Perú, and Gremio Peruano de Cosmética e Higiene (COPECOH).

Francisco is an active member of YPO Perú and was the former Chapter Chair from 2016-17. He now lives between Miami and Lima and enjoys watersports such as paddle surfing, water skiing, and sailing, as well as mountain and road biking. He also is an amateur drummer.
