Scott earned a bachelor’s degree with highest honors in political science and journalism from Rutgers University. He received his MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), was admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey, and previously held securities industry FINRA licenses Series 7, 24, and 63.

Scott is a Director Emeritus of the Rutgers University Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of the NJ Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He enjoys skiing, golfing, and running. Scott has completed an Ironman triathlon and 15 marathons. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two daughters.
