His areas of expertise are in scaling high-growth brands and businesses, strategy, operations, digitization, and business development.

Business Highlights:

  • Managing Director at Richemont Asia Pacific – Ran the Alfred Dunhill brand, where he more than doubled revenue (55% CAGR) and increased unaided brand awareness to over 75%, making Dunhill one of the most recognized and successful men’s luxury brands in Asia.
  • President & CEO of Coach (China) – Oversaw the rapid expansion of Coach in China. Under his leadership, revenue grew 10x, and he more than doubled market share to make Coach one of the largest and most profitable premium accessories brands in China. Specifically, Jon oversaw Coach’s e-commerce and digital marketing strategies, including the first luxury brand flagship store on Tmall.
  • CEO of naked Hub – Raising two rounds of funding from PE, Jon built the Shanghai-based co-working operator from three locations in China to 50 locations across Asia in only two years, to become the largest premium co-working operation in the region. In 2018 the business was acquired by WeWork, in the largest co-working transaction at the time (@$480M).
  • Senior Advisor at TPG Capital in Asia – Supported multiple deals in the region and took operational roles in two portfolio companies, APM Monaco (a leading vertically integrated fashion jewelry brand) and Dream Cruises (the first large-format cruise concept for Asian cruisers). He developed the Value Creation Plans and led the digital transformation program at APM Monaco, growing e-commerce penetration nearly 100%, customer engagement, retention, and SCRM. With Dream Cruises he led a digital marketing diagnostic project that resulted in several key value-add initiatives to both cabin sales as well as on-board revenue. He also supported several TPG Portfolio Companies on their Go-To-Market plans in China/Asia.
