Mark Moses on AI, Longevity, Resilience, and the 2024 Make BIG Happen Summit

Guest: Mark Moses, CEO and Founding Partner of CEO Coaching International.

Overview: The 2024 Make BIG Happen Summit in Miami Beach, Florida is almost here! On April 26th and 27th, 400 of the BIGGEST and best business leaders from around the world will gather at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel to learn, to connect, and to get inspired to Make BIG Happen in their lives and businesses.

And, for the first time in the Summit’s 10-year history, we’re opening up registration for this one-of-a-kind event to CEOs, entrepreneurs, and executives outside of our coaching community.

On this special episode, Mark Moses discusses the Four Groundbreaking Event Themes that will define the 2024 Make BIG Happen Summit, our extraordinary lineup of speakers, and what he hopes attendees will take away from their time in Miami Beach.

Mark Moses on AI:

“If you ask CEOs around the world if they think AI is going to make a difference in their industry, on a scale of 1 to 10, they will tell you it will have a 9 out of 10 impact. If you ask them how ready are they? How good is their strategy? On a scale of 1 to 10, the typical answer is two. The highest answer I’ve ever heard is four.

“And so, Peter Diamandis is going to talk about AI, the impact that it’s going to have on the world, the impact that it’s going to have on businesses all over the world, and how you as a leader of your business can dive in. We also have Rajeev Kapur, author of AI Made Simple and Chase Greatness, and Asha Saxena, an adjunct professor at Columbia University and the Founder and CEO of Women Leaders in Data and AI. We’ll also hear from our own Chief AI Officer, Curt Gooden, and coach Randy Koch, Former GE President and Innovative Data CEO.”

Mark Moses on Longevity:

“Last April, I heard Peter Diamandis say, ‘If you don’t die of something stupid, or bad luck, over the next 20 years, medical science should be able to carry you to 120.’ And some people will say, ‘Well, I don’t know if I want to live to 120. How healthy am I going to be?’ Peter, who co-founded Fountain Life with Tony Robbins and also co-wrote the book Life Force, is going to talk about how you can live a longer and healthier life. For example, there are new ways to test for cancer and your 10-year risk of developing heart disease. It’s amazing having that information today.

“We also have Dr. Matthew Dawson, Co-founder and CEO of Wild Health, to talk about performance optimization and genetics-based precision medicine. And finally Kaia Roman, a Silicon Valley-based biohacker and entrepreneur, is going to cover the basics on psychedelics and unpack some questions surrounding that.

I believe it’s important for a ‘driven audience’ like CEOs to be equally as driven about their health. If your health is good, you have a much higher probability to have more happiness and to be able to take care of those you love.

Mark Moses on Resilience:

“How do you, as a leader, overcome those dark days and find the inspiration when it feels helpless? How do you rebuild, or navigate whatever obstacle you have in front of you, whether it’s a partner issue, whether you don’t like the private equity firm you sold to, whether you lost a key customer, you’re going broke, your supplier cuts you off, your people are leaving. We all face adversity, and we believe it’s inspiring to listen to others who have shown resilience because it gives one hope on how they can navigate their own journey.

Glenn Stearns grew up in an alcoholic home. He failed the fourth grade. He became a father at 14. He’s dyslexic and a two-time cancer survivor. He’s on a feeding tube. And despite all those challenges, Glenn has become unbelievably successful with his mortgage company, Stearns Lending. He won the Horatio Alger Award. He won the TV show “The Real Gilligan’s Island” and was the star of “Undercover Billionaire.” Today, Glenn’s newest business is Kind Lending, he has a great family, and his story will be very inspiring to our audience.

Mark Moses on Making BIG Happen:

“At CEO Coaching International, our brand promise to our clients is to help them grow revenue and grow profit. Most CEOs and leaders want to drive more EBITDA. We have a number of speakers that have not yet exited their businesses, and they’re going to be telling the story of their journey, how they’re in the process of Making BIG Happen, and what enabled them to do that? What were the practices that enabled the regular person go from A to B and maybe on to C?

“A couple years ago, Sarah Dusek, Founder of Under Canvas, was so inspired at the Make BIG Happen Summit that she told her coach, ‘I want to be up on that stage having sold my business for $100 million.’ And Sarah sold her business for exactly $100 million at a 32X multiple of EBITDA. There aren’t hundreds and hundreds of ways to run a business in the right way. There are a set of best practices that we talk about in the Make BIG Happen System. We want to share how others are using those tools to Make BIG Happen in their businesses and Make BIG Happen in their lives.”

The 2024 Make BIG Happen Summit Register to join us in Miami Beach, Florida on April 26th and 27th at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel.
