Meet Our Guest Speaker:

James Jack

Managing Director, Head of Business Owner Segment, Private Wealth Management, UBS

James is the Divisional Manager for the Private Wealth Management Division. In that role, James supports UBS’s financial advisors in unlocking the capabilities and solutions of UBS for their clients with particular focus on supporting business owners and entrepreneurs. James also serves the product lead and manager for UBS’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) business, helping to oversee the solution offering and risk oversight while working closely with UBS’s ESOP financial advisor team.

Since 2018, James formed and led the UBS Business Owners Client Segment, building an organization that supports business owners and the Financial Advisors that advise them. He has worked with clients on pre-business sale exit planning, such as succession planning, M&A transaction planning, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and the emotional and self-identity ramifications of exiting a business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, James and his team supported business owners in navigating pandemic programs like the Paycheck Protection Program.

James holds a BS in Finance and Economics from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
