Chris Mellon is a seasoned C-suite executive, board member, and CPA with a dynamic record of driving transformational growth across logistics, service, and financial sectors. With more than 30 years of experience as CEO, CFO, and COO, Chris brings unmatched financial acumen, operational rigor, and sales strategy to every engagement. He has successfully led organizations through complex scaling challenges, technology modernization, strategic acquisitions, and cultural reinvention.
As CEO of a $4 billion wholesale distribution company, Chris led the growth strategy that transformed the business from a $300M regional player into one of the top 10 national industry leaders, achieving double-digit compound annual growth in both revenue and EBITDA. He has a unique ability to spot and act on timely inflection points for value creation, enabling his clients to achieve bold revenue targets, optimize profitability, and build lasting enterprise value.
Chris has advised private equity-owned, family-owned, and publicly held companies, as well as served on boards in various industries, including dental supply, technology, and banking. He brings a strategic yet pragmatic lens to M&A, divestitures, succession planning, and leadership development. A former strategic advisor to Lineage Logistics, he has been instrumental in shaping forward-looking logistics and technology strategies for Fortune 500 acquirers.
A tech-forward operator, Chris has deployed enterprise-wide solutions, including SAP, onboard computing, and automated proof-of-delivery systems, to unlock recurring financial performance. His leadership experience includes founding and successfully exiting two SaaS startups, as well as serving as a lead investor in a hospitality-based ERP and a nonprofit food rescue platform.
Chris began his career at KPMG as an Audit Manager in the banking and commercial practice groups. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and is a long-time member of YPO, where he was a two-time regional finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
