About CEO Coaching International
CEO Coaching International is a one-to-one coaching firm for CEOs, founders, and presidents who want a former operator beside them, a clear number in front of them, and no place for missed commitments to hide.
Origin · 2008
Mark Moses founded CEO Coaching International in 2008 after using the discipline behind Make BIG Happen to build and sell two companies, including an Inc. 500 business. Other CEOs did not need more theory. They needed a proven operator willing to challenge the target, expose the gap, and stay until the work was done. That need became the firm. Mark still coaches, still sets the standard, and still starts with the same question: what would you attempt if you knew it would work?
The model
01
The bench is 63 coaches. Every one is a former CEO, founder, or president. They have carried payroll, answered to a board, missed a number, rebuilt a team, and made decisions with real money attached.
02
Candidates are assessed on what they ran, the scale and complexity they handled, and the value they created. Then they coach live CEOs under observation. Most do not clear the operating-record stage.
03
The work starts with the number, turns it into a one-page plan, and returns to the scoreboard every week. When revenue, profit, or enterprise value is not moving, the plan changes. Excuses do not become strategy.

Who we serve, and who we do not
Scale changes the decisions, the stakes, and the kind of operating experience that matters. We are useful when you own the number and want somebody credible enough to challenge how you plan to hit it.
Running a company between $5M and $1B+ in revenue
The CEO, founder, or president, meaning you own the number
Carrying a target you are not certain how to hit
Willing to be held accountable by someone who has done it
Pre-revenue or looking for a co-founder
Looking for a peer group rather than one-to-one coaching
Sending a deputy to do the coaching for you
Looking for a consultant to build the plan rather than a coach to hold you to it

Vistage runs a peer advisory model: most of your time is spent in a room of other CEOs, facilitated by a chair. CEO Coaching International is one-to-one coaching with an operator who has run a company at your stage or larger. Every coach is a former CEO, founder, or president, so you get a private partner rather than a group of opinions.
Engagements are billed monthly against an annual scope, with no per-session charges and no separate fee for calls between sessions. Scope is agreed in writing before the engagement starts, so the number does not move when a quarter gets difficult. Engagement pricing depends on scope and cadence. We share exact pricing in the fit conversation, before you commit to anything.
CEO Coaching International works best with founders, CEOs, and presidents of $5M to $1B+ revenue companies who are past product-market fit, still growing, and willing to be held to commitments. Roughly seven in ten clients are founder-CEOs; the rest are PE-backed operators and second-generation family business leaders.
Most clients start with a twelve-month commitment, then renew annually, and many stay for years. The relationship compounds: once a coach knows the business, the team, and the numbers, the work moves from quarterly planning into hiring, capital structure, acquisitions, and eventually exit preparation without restarting context each time.
After an application, a partner reviews the business personally and recommends one or two coaches based on industry, company stage, and the specific work to be done. You meet both before deciding anything. If the chemistry is wrong, CEO Coaching International re-matches you, with no argument and no charge for the restart.
A partner reads every application personally, and most CEOs hear back within one business day to schedule a thirty-minute session. There is no obligation attached to that conversation. About half the CEOs who apply are not the right fit for this kind of coaching, and CEO Coaching International says so directly rather than selling anyway.
Yes. Many engagements widen from the CEO to the executive team, board preparation, acquisition integration, or succession planning. Coaches regularly run off-sites and full-team strategic planning sessions. The engagement stays anchored on the CEO, because a team cannot outrun the person setting the priorities.
Both. Most one-to-one sessions run virtually on a twice-monthly cadence, and many engagements include one or two in-person off-sites a year for planning or team work. CEO Coaching International coaches operate across 94 countries and travel when the work genuinely calls for a room.
The application takes about three minutes. A partner reads every answer and tells you directly whether we can help.
