CEO Coaching clients enjoyed several very special experiences in Napa over the weekend; hosted through the exclusive Napa Valley Reserve and Kelham Vineyards. Guests represented a wide range of businesses; from an online retailer who supports social causes to a company leveraging data in unique ways to transform the live event industry. Many guests took advantage of the opportunity to taste a wine still in barrel from grapes on the vine during last summer’s fires that hit Northern California.
As is becoming the hallmark of CEO Coaching’s community events; the most impactful part of the experience continues to be opportunities for members to connect with each other, their coaches and our partners. New bonds continue to be formed and new opportunities continue to open up as our broader community develops trusted relationships driving business growth.
The Napa Valley Reserve served as the location for the kick-off dinner, tour and barrel tasting. Guests first enjoyed a selection of the Reserve’s wines, overlooking the vineyard where 50 of the world’s 130 types of soil support the growth of the Reserve’s exclusive range of hand-produced wines. The cave tour included exploration of the Reserve’s lab where all of the wine-making magic happens and barrel tastings of several of the wines in various stages of aging and production.
Saturday’s adventure took guests to Kelham Vineyards, starting with a tour of the winery’s numerous varieties in development. Members had the opportunity to taste a wine made from grapes that were on the vine in 2018 when fires ravaged Northern California – which is an experiment that Kelham’s winemaker decided to undertake based upon pure curiosity. Many noted the distinct flavor based upon the impact of last summer’s weather, fires and dry conditions. A 5-course lunch was accompanied by 9 of Kelham’s hand-produced wines.
As the event concluded under the beautiful Napa sunshine on Saturday afternoon, new bonds were solidified and the new connections made will no doubt continue for many years to come.
