The CEO Coaching International community enjoyed a highly exclusive night at the Napa Valley Reserve last week.
CEOs from various industries and diverse places as far away as the Philippines experienced the opportunity to connect with one another, their coaches and strategic partners, in an evening of intimate networking, learning and tasting of some of Napa Valley’s finest wines. New bonds continue to be formed and new business opportunities emerge, as our broader community develops new, trusted relationships.
Upon arrival, guests enjoyed glasses of the Reserve’s 2017 white and 2017 red on the patio, just after sunset, where a refreshing chill in the air was met by the warmth of the hospitality barn and good company.
During the winter months, cellarmasters perform the traditional crafts of topping, barrel sampling and barrel-to-barrel racking. After aging and before bottling wine is extracted from the barrels and the optimal balance of flavor in the wine is determined. After one to two years in the barrel the final blend is determined and the wine is ready for bottling. Clients were treated to a hands-on approach to this process through a cave tour, where all were offered the opportunity to barrel taste 4 wines currently in various stages of the aging process.
The dinner experience brought guests together for a seated, 3-course meal – served with special selections of the 2016 white and 2004 red, paired perfectly with a broad array of cuisine from land and sea.
Clients had the opportunity to share a bit about their hopes, plans and goals for 2020 as the group considered the kick-off to the year to date; and how they’ll make BIG happen in the months to come. Everyone left with a sense of connectedness and also excitement around new connections made as well as the upcoming Summit, April 22-24, 2020.
